Employed again!
Jan. 27th, 2006 09:56 amWell, it looks like I get to join the world of the gainfully employed for a while. Until March, at least. Have landed a contract job with my previous employer (not the NHS, the one before that!). It sounds like it could be interesting - I'm going to be a 'business transformation analyst'. I'm going to be assisting with making sure employees know how the new business works now it's been reorganised, new chains of command etc. If I'm lucky I'll get to be creative and do some intranet stuff and do some publications too. I'm not getting completely screwed in terms of pay either, which is nice. I start Monday at 8am. Eeek!
Oh, what to wear, what to wear... Ugh, office clothes.
In other news, went swimming again yesterday. Forgot it was public swimming, which meant navigating around kids legs shooting up into the air in front of you. I know I did it but what is so interesting about handstands on the bottom of the pool? Perhaps I should have tried it to see if I could rekindle something. Managed my 30 lengths and beat a hasty retreat.
Of course, having only a couple of lazy days left, I was wide awake at 8am today and have been unable to go back to sleep...
