faster pussycat, kill, kill!
Nov. 23rd, 2003 12:00 amAnd here I was thinking that
iamnoodles wasn't going to speak to me for a while because we totally stuffed the Aussies played a jolly good game against a good opponent but eventually won the day... Good to know our Aussie friends aren't poor losers. *snigger*
googlebrat and I just came back from watching The Matrix: Revolutions. I think the people behind us got used to her flinging her arms around my neck when it got a bit too exciting - I had the advantage of having seen it before. She also dropped her spoon and I had to fetch her another one and then she dropped her icecream but, miraculously, it hadn't landed face down. *g* I am now feeling horribly full of popcorn (bad, bad. I know) and we have more of the stuff left.
Spent the day painting and playing with fun-dough and watching videos - well actually the fun-dough smelled so appalling that I had to open the windows and banish it back to its tub... all sweet and cloying and yeurgh. I don't know how they could honestly think that children like to play with something that artificial. Gods, it had to be smelled to be believed! The Smallfuzzy is welcome to take it home with her! Oh, and we watched Watership Down and she wanted me to paint a black rabbit on my my painting but I wouldn't... I painted healthy non-dead rabbits instead. Oh, and some betentacled aliens with glittery auras.
We have also discovered that Menolly does not like bubbles being blown at her. The poor animal took one look at them when the Smallfuzzy started blowing them and backed away and then belted out of the room at high speed. She is now giving us all a wide berth. Just in case
googlebrat produces the bubble mixture again.
So far, we have watched: Labyrinth, Joseph: King of Dreams, The Matrix, Watership Down and BtVS: Once More With Feeling. I'm shattered. I think tomorrow I'll do something easy like fell running with a 50lb rucksack... Bedtime!
Edit: Having been snide to
iamnoodles about the Rugby, least I can do is wish her a happy anniversary. Hope there's many more, hon.
