Sunday evening...

I am so tired it's untrue. Doesn't make much sense considering what I've done this weekend but my body rarely does make sense.

I did go to a friend's barbecue last night and saw anejo again and got mildly inebriated and then she and I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean this morning. We giggled insanely all the way through. Some wickedly funny moments - actually a helluva lot better than I imagined it would be. Some fantastic fight scenes, especially the moonlit ones. Johnny Depp really did add an extra dimension to the movie - slightly off-kilter, borderline nutcase demeanour. Damned funny and none of this sappy rogue with a heart of gold, which let's face it, Disney could easily have served up with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. It was good to be pleasantly surprised. Some lovely little character interaction bits too, like the two pirates with their parasols and the two English soldiers. I liked them!

It's still horribly hot, though nowhere near as bad as dahn sahth, which had over 100 degrees fahrenheit today. We had torrential rain and thunder this morning but now it's gone back to being humid and sticky. I'm dreading work tomorrow.

I try to stay away from evil deeds but succumb to temptation every once in a while. I'm not quite on my way to hell but I certainly have some explaining to do.
