aelin has been poorly too. We've been a right pair. I was particularly un-stiff upper lip-ish and didn't eat all day Monday and drank a lot of water. She had an allergic reaction to steroids for an ear infection and ached from head to foot on Tuesday. It's now Wednesday and we managed to go out and actually do something today and that was eat in a Mexican restaurant. Yum. I'd forgotten just how much I love authentic Mexican food. It's just divine. I had Chalupas, which are crispy corn tortillas with fajita beef strips inside, chargrilled, with mountains of crispy lettuce and guacamole and refried beans and sour cream and alsorts of other yummy stuff. I have also been to Starbucks and had frappuchino, which was great but, because I don't eat sugar usually, due to being on a strict diet, it resulted in me feeling sick and now feeling a bit hyper... whee!
So, now sitting around and waiting for the Noodle to come online so I can hassle her.
Tomorrow I get to go to the art gallery, where there is an impressionist exhibition and drink with other worthy folks in the sculpture garden. Will have to polish my cut-glass British accent and check it over for early signs of a southern drawl.
